Art was created by comic actor Red Skelton in 1984 and is titled "Amigo" and features a jolly clown similar in appearance to Skelton's Freddie the Freeloader bum clown character, only wearing a festive sombrero and colorful serape. Skelton began painting in the 1940s, often focusing on clowns. In addition to his originals, Skelton also sold reproductions and prints through his own mail-order business.
