Item Description
First is .75" thin brass 1850s token with "George Washington" on one side and "Liberty" head on the other plus text "Composition Spiel Marke". Some letters of the first word are worn off. Only Fair condition but with clear images. Next is 5/8" solid brass clothing button with shank. This is DeWitt Congressional Elections 1834-23. Front shows a Liberty cap on a pole with inscription around "E Pluribus Unum/For The Constitution." On the reverse surrounding the shank is the inscription "True Whigs Of 76 & 34" plus a design of 14 stars. Most luster remains VF. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
