Item Description
First is 7/8" brass clothing button with very convex front featuring portrait surrounded by his nickname "Rough & Ready." Reverse has the shank although it is free to move left and right. Exc. luster. Next is brass token listed as DeWitt 1848-21. Front has his portrait and name with surrounding names of Mexican war battles. Reverse shows eagle with surrounding text "United States Of America 1847." This piece is 15/16". Very slight smoothing of details on his nose and hair but overall still in clean Fine condition.
