Item Description
These are all brass with sizes between 1" and 1-1/8". Three of the pieces are holed as made. Each piece has the candidates portrait and name on the front. In our photo the first and third items are essentially mates as each have a similar eagle design on the reverse and the second and fifth item are also very similar in design. Using DeWitt numbers in order the two for Pierce are 1852-4 & 1852-5 while the three for Scott are 1852-11, 12, 13. There is a .25" die-break line on the first of the Scott tokens as made. Overall these are very clean examples with only a couple showing slight smoothing of the details on the hair. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
