This piece is Hake 3103 although the photo is somewhat oversized in the book. Actual diameter is 1.5" and the front has a very thick piece of glass applied over a crystal clear sepia real photo laid against a gold foil background. The reverse of the piece is covered in brass and there are two tiny 1/16" brass circles which were apparently the foundation for a brass bar pin no longer there. Instead of the pin a layer of clear glue holds a second piece of brass 1" in diameter and with a button shank at its center. While the reverse has obviously been altered the front of the piece displays Mint and it is rare. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
