Item Description
Each piece is white metal and 1-1/16" in diameter. The Cleveland is in DeWitt as 1884-13 while Blaine is 1884-14. The Cleveland piece does not have a hanger whereas the Blaine has an embossed brass eagle hanger. Each has candidates portrait and name on the obverse. Reverse of Cleveland shows a scroll inscribed "Reform" plus text "Democratic Candidate For President." The Blaine piece shows an eagle upon a shield and reads "Republican Candidate For President." Cleveland has lost just a little luster with just a very trivial scratch across the side edge of the piece on the top only 1/16" long. This piece still displays NM. The Blaine is in fact NM. Julie Powell Collection.
