Item Description
Hake #3279. 1.25" with covered metal back and fixed bar pin. Front shows old woman with voluminous skirt driving car holding Bryan in the rear seat tipping his hat. Clouds of dust fly up around the car and the car radiator is dated 1908. A tall broom is positioned as a hood ornament and from it flies a banner reading "Clean Sweep For Democrats." Button has noticeable discoloration but retains its full color and high gloss. This has $1,400.00 guide value in Hake's 2004 Revised Prices. Julie Powell Collection.
