Button is 2-1/8" with back paper by Phila. Badge Co. Ribbon is clean although with multiple horizontal splits between 1.25" and 1.5" down from its top. We thought the ribbon was held by the spring pin of the button but when we took it off a card we discovered the button was simply positioned over top the fabric and not held by the spring pin. Because of the horizontal splits we did not place the ribbon back into the button back and secure it by the pin for fear of totally splitting the fabric about .5" wide that remains unsplit about .25" above his portrait. The only other damage to the ribbon is a small area to the left of his name with some splitting 1/8" deep and going inward only 3/8". This rare one day event button and ribbon is unlisted in Hake. With the button pinned to a stiff card it displays as we have photographed it and will not be subject to any further splitting if displayed in this manner. Only example we've seen.
