Item Description
20.5x26.5" frame contains 15x20" Smithsonian Institution print that has been professionally double-matted and framed. Print shows the Wright Ex "Vin Fiz Flyer" in flight. The "Vin Fiz Flyer" was an early Wright Brothers Model EX pusher bi-plane that in 1911 became the first aircraft to fly coast-to-coast across the US, a journey that took almost three months. Print features small 2x2" section of original fabric from the wing of this historic aircraft. This is mounted above text giving historical information about this plane and its historic flight. Exc. as framed. Historic aviation artifact.
