Item Description
Each button is 1.75". All four buttons include "C.I.O." initials. The first has slogan "Unite All Three In One Union For Higher Wages" with names on the rim "Tractor/West Pullman/McCormick." Second has similar design with text relating to "Higher Wages/Job Security." This one has a couple of pinpoint specks trapped under the celluloid. Third references "United Farm Equipment Workers Of America" and is a button used by a "Steward." This has 1" hairline scuff at lower right that catches reflected light. The fourth again refers to "Wages, Job Security, United Strength." Tiny text within the chain design at top reads "FE-CIO National Harvester Council" while the chain links list the different plants and product names including "Deering/Farmall/Rock Falls/Auburn/McCormick/W. Pullman/East Moline" and several others. In early 1941 16,000 men went on strike at four International Harvester factories. NM and displaying Mint except as noted.
