Item Description
2-1/16" with metal back and bar pin. Curl names NYC maker Slater. This event occurred in a section of Cleveland Ohio beginning July 23 and continuing through July 28, 1968. Seven people were killed including three policemen, three suspects, a bystander and 15 others were wounded. The events involved Fred Evans and his radical militant group suspected of purchasing illegal weapons. Evans was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death in the electric chair but his sentence was eventually commuted to life and he died in prison in 1978. Button has pinpoint tan dot on extreme top edge and a second on the right center rim edge. Full gloss. Rare.
