Item Description
Lot of three 1950s Post cereal box displays. All are complete w/wax wrappers around mock boxes to give appearance of as-issued boxes. This was very neatly done and makes for a perfect display. Boxes measure between 6.5x9x1.75" and 7x9.75x1.75" deep. Cereals include - "Grape-Nuts Flakes, Corn-Fetti" and "Raisin Bran." Each has premium toy offer mentioned on front/back of wrapper; these include "Duncan Tournament Yo-Yo" that was available for two box tops and 25¢, "Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey Circus Toy" that was offered free in boxes and "Captain Jolly Comic Book" that was offered free in box. Captain Jolly mascot was introduced in 1951. Wrappers have some scattered creasing and aging but are o/w VF/Exc.
