Item Description
Gumball machine unit itself has base dia. of 7" and height of 14". Green porcelain finish over cast iron base w/stainless steel fittings and Owens' crystal bowl and theft-proof slot mechanism. Interior surface of bowl has choice wrap-around decal featuring multiple images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, their Nephews, Donald Duck, his Nephews, Goofy and Pluto. Images include them having a parade, circus theme, Western theme. Made by Hamilton Enterprises, Inc. ©1938. Designed for countertop use but it could also be mounted on a stand for floor use (stand acquired separately). Comes w/key/plug at top. This fits properly but does not lock. Machine is missing stainless steel bottom portion of base but still displays nicely. Trace of wear at coin slot and few small traces of wear to porcelain finish along seam w/scattered oxidation. Decal remains clear and distinct w/just slight edge wear, 95% complete. Fine/VF. An exceptional display piece for both collectors of Disneyana and gumball machines.
