Item Description
7.25x10.5" sheet of unlined paper w/printed "Leonard Nimoy" letterhead/address has handwritten letter in lt. blue ink and is dated Aug. 20, 1963. Letter is addressed to Gene Levitt, and reads "Thanks For The Opportunity To Work On The Squad. It Was A Gratifying Experience & I Hope To Be Able To Do It Again. Sincerely, Leonard Nimoy." Letter refers to Nimoy's appearance on the Season 2, Episode 6 "The Wounded Don't Cry" episode of "Combat!" that originally aired Oct. 22, 1963. Nimoy would later return to the show in a totally different role for one episode in 1965. Sheet has lt. even aging w/thin streak of glue staining at lower right, not affecting signature. Letter is folded as mailed and is o/w Exc. w/bold signature. A wonderful pre-Star Trek Nimoy signed item. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
