Item Description
Buttons are 7/8" to 1". All are c.1900-1920 with one dated for 1910. Inscriptions on the buttons include American Red Star Animal Relief; Rhode Island Band Of Mercy; ASPCA Young Defenders League; Nebraska Humane Society and several others. The metal figural star badges are from the late 1890s or early 1900s. One is of embossed brass reading simply "Band Of Mercy." The other with silver finish reads "Band Of Mercy/Glory To God/MSPCA 1882" with star points reading "Kindness/Justice/Mercy/To/All." An outstanding group with many rarities.
