Item Description
First is 1-11/16" tall beautifully designed "Gold Filled" fob with maker name on back of W&H. Front has highly detailed design of female figure surrounded by dog, young child and horse while she holds a shield reading "Qui Transtulit Sustinet." (this is Connecticut's state motto; He Who Transplanted Still Sustains). Outer band of blue enamel with text "Humane Education/Kindness-Mercy-Justice." Reverse raised text "Poster Contest/Awarded By Connecticut Humane Society/1926." Beautiful and Mint. Next is 1-1/8" brass badge made by Braxmar. Has same scene as on previous item with rim text "Connecticut Humane Society." Probably earlier than the previous item. NM.
