First is 2" diameter brass and deep red enamel. Depicted is winged female figure holding torch and scales of justice while below her on each side are animals including horse, cat and dog. She is standing atop the globe with a background of surrounding rays. Reverse, within a wreath, reads "Presented By (full name of group) For Promoting Kindness To Animals." Tiny text on bottom edge names maker Pilgrim Badge. Second piece is similar but silver luster with red enamel front rim and a bit smaller at 1.75". This again is an award which begins with the word "Presented", then with the group name and then with "For Promoting Kindness To Animals." Reverse of this has a wreath which is blank at the center and meant to be engraved. This has tiny text naming maker Cammall Badge. Small traces of lost luster but both pieces are Exc. Undated but c.1930s or even much earlier.
