Item Description
2-1/8" button with process developed by W&H which placed colored metal foils behind transparent areas covered in celluloid so that these areas have a metallic sheen. The process was expensive and we know of about a half dozen buttons executed in that manner. This is the largest of all and reads "Los Angeles County Of Fruit And Flowers." Spring pin holds somewhat dust soiled ribbon with initials naming a 1915 convention of the Pacific Coast Advertising Men's Association. The W&H name appears on the curl. Only example we've seen with this ribbon. The button itself is NM displaying Mint. Scarce.
