Item Description
First is 7/8" with dusty W&H back paper. About half the reverse celluloid edge failed to fold beneath the collet but it all lays perfectly flat and tight against the collet. Front has slightest gray tone on extreme outer edge with extreme edge at left having an 1/8" hairline cello split barely seen. Front text includes "Dallas, Texas, 1902." Rare. Next is 1.25" button with an old inked price on the lightly soiled W&H back paper used only 1900-1912. Front has stain around 70% of perimeter with marks going inward .25" or less. Button names "Merrimac Mfg. Co." with bold text beneath the Civil War ironclad "Merrimac." First we've seen. Still displays with full gloss.
