Item Description
20.5x24.5" ornate wooden frame w/cloth/wood mat contains original mixed media painting that has been matted to 15.5x19.5". Art has small initials/signature and 1985 date at bottom center. Art was published as cover for Ballantine Books/Del Rey paperback. Created by sci-fi and fantasy illustrator Barclay Shaw, art features two of the most iconic images from two of H.G. Wells' most iconic stories - the Martian fighting-machine/tripod from "The War Of The Worlds" and the titular time machine from "The Time Machine." Exc. Great visuals. Comes w/reading copy of the book featuring this art on the cover.
