Original 8x10" glossy authenticated and encapsulated as a "Type 1" by PSA/DNA. Great image of five players in uniform standing on a ball field with empty stadium seats in the bkg. Players include HOF member Jud Wilson, John Beckwith and Julio Rojo. Written on the reverse in pencil is date of July 25, 1925 and in ink is "Credit" above the ink stamp address of "The Penn Studio" of Balt. MD. Matching embossed studio text is in the lower right corner. Front has some ink publication writing/notations but all in the top margin and in no way impacting the player images. Trace of margin wear. Image remains sharp and clear and photo is bright and glossy. Fine. Wonderful photo for this team which was founded in 1916 and in 1923 became one of the original six teams of the Eastern Colored League.
