Marsans played winter baseball in the Cuban League from 1905 to 1928 and was a Major League outfielder from 1911 to 1918. He played with the Cincinnati Reds from 1911 to 1914, the St. Louis Terriers from 1914 to 1915, and with the St. Louis Browns and New York Yankees between 1916 and 1918. He was one of ten players inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in its 1939 inaugural class. Two tiny 1/16" insect holes have been filled in/touched up at left, one on his coat and one on the bkg.
