Thorpe played in the Major Leagues from 1913 to 1919, mostly with the Giants (ironically he also played for the NFL NY Giants franchise in 1925). Moderate handling wear, much of which is only visible in reflected light. 3" crease at right center running horizontally across the chest of Thorpe, reverse has archival tape reinforcement at this area.
