The San Francisco Seals were a Minor League team in that played in the Pacific Coast League from 1903 until 1957 before transferring to Phoenix, Arizona. In 1930 Lefty made his MLB debut with the NY Yankees. He was a five-time World Series champion with the team, a seven-time All-Star and two-Time Triple Crown winner.
