Item Description
This is the second set Dixie issued featuring movie stars. It is unique in that it is the only set to feature two sheets per star. All are 9x11" and in bw. Each sheet is one-sided with the first sheet featuring a portrait and the second sheet having film scenes and text (the following year, and continuing after this, all was done on a single two-sided sheet). This is the full set of 24 stars (48 sheets) plus front/back covers which have repeated design, a collage of images from this set. Stars include: Cagney, Colbert, Crabbe, Gable, Harlow, Holt, Maynard, and more. ACC #F4. Slightest aging and tiny traces of edge/corner tip wear but an exceptionally clean and NM, high grade set. One of most desirable Dixie issues.
