3-5/8" tall tin litho pail w/wire bail handle was made c. 1910 by the La Crosse Can Co. of La Crosse, WI. for N.P. Forseth, as noted in printed text below image of Santa Claus. Text reads "A Merry Xmas - A Happy New Year - With Compliments From" and Forseth's printed name. These pails were filled w/candy and issued as gifts by various companies who had their names printed as seen here. No lid included. Pail shows moderate wear w/numerous small spots of original metal showing through lithography. Lithography is also aged. VG overall.
