Item Description
Complete and assembled empty 1 lb., 2 oz. box from 1955 has Norman Rockwell painted front w/banner showing image of Jack Webb and whistle w/"Free Inside! Official Jack Webb Dragnet Whistle" text. Back has repeated image of whistle premium as well as image of Webb and text mentioning him in upcoming film "Pete Kelly's Blues" as well as Dragnet text. Additionally, box back has cut-out "Dragnet Jr. Deputy" ID card and badge. Both remain uncut. Box shows aging/wear, w/2" tear to top flap. VG. Comes w/two different versions of the 2" long plastic whistle. First has stickers on each side reading "Official Jack Webb Dragnet Whistle" w/"Dragnet" shield on the other side. Second whistle has these designs molded into the plastic. One is store item. Exc.
