Item Description
Lot of five items, each w/signatures from cast of the classic 1960-1968 CBS sitcom. First are two 3.5x8.5" Bank of America checks, one from Andy Griffith's account (No. 3169) made out to David Capell & Company for $150 and signed by Griffith in black felt tip pen. Second is from Jim Nabors account (No. 2112) and is made out to Department of HRD for $23.80 and signed by Nabors in blue ink. Both checks have standard bank cancellation holes, Griffith check has fold lines as mailed. VF-Exc. overall. 7x9" glossy photo shows Don Knotts as Barney Fife and has been boldly signed by Knotts, who has added "Barney" character name. Exc. 3.75x6.5" postally issued First Day Cover "Opening Of The Cherokee Strip" (FDC) that has been signed in black felt tip pen by George Lindsey, who adds "'Goober'" character name. Postmark is Oct. 15, 1968. Exc. Last item is 3.75x6.5" postally issued "Douglas Fairbanks" FDC that has been signed in blue felt tip pen by Ron Howard, who has added "All The Best" inscription and in black felt tip pen by Hal Smith, who has added "'Otis' Campbell" character name. Postmark is May 23, 1984. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COAs.
