Item Description
10.75x15" artboard w/attached paper overlay has original mixed media art depicting the main box lid art for 1966 Lindberg model kit featuring the Santa Maria, the largest of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus in his first voyage to the New World. Art shows the ship anchoring in shallow waters, a small rowboat beside it w/men loading or unloading items from the Santa Maria. Art is signed "G. Meyer." Large image area measures 17.5x26.5". Margins show some scattered wear w/creasing at bottom right corner. Bottom margin has two strips of white tape, which does infringe into art, though only in water areas and could be matted out for an Exc. display and would look stunning framed. Impressive model kit art.
