Item Description
10x12" sheet of animation paper w/outlined art area measuring 7.75x10.25" features large close-up portrait of ostrich beautifully rendered in lead pencil w/red/blue colored pencil accents. From Disney's 1940 animated musical "Fantasia," this art is from "The Dance Of The Hours" sequence. Reverse has "Concert Feature" studio back stamp noting artist James Bodrero, and noting this as being from Sequence #10, Sketch #836 and dated July 11, 1939. Sheet has overall lt. aging and several pinholes at corners, w/a few scattered along margins. Sheet is Fine overall, but art remains Exc. An exceptional piece of art for this 1940 animated Disney classic. See following item #1700.
