Item Description
Small 1.75x3-3/8x1" hinged lid composition box has gold painted "Presented With Neyman's - Copenhagen Snuff" text. 1860-1870s. Scattered lt. paint wear to lid, w/1/8" scuff at center, not greatly affecting text. Scattered edge wear to bottom. Interior retains strong tobacco aroma. Fine/VF. Not typically found w/this degree of paint remaining. Scarce early example.
