Auction #214 - Part II
Item numbers 1008 through 2793 in auction 214
Item Description
9.25x12-1/8" sheet music folio published by Vogel Music Co., Inc., ©1932. Front has been signed in black felt tip pen by Hollywood legend James Cagney, who played George M. Cohan (who wrote the music for "Yankee Doodle Dandy") in the 1942 biopic "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and again in the 1955 Bob Hope film "The Seven Little Foys." Folio has some scattered handling wear w/pinch creases and small tears along spine and corner creases. Fine overall, but Cagney's signature still displays nicely. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COA.
