Item Description
Complete set of five 2-5/8x6-7/8" comic books w/24 pages each. ©1951 Kagran Corp. Envelope has illustration of Gabby Hayes w/word balloon reading "Howdy, Buckaroos! Here's Your Set Of Five Gabby Hayes Comic Books!" Envelope shows moderate handling wear w/all over creasing. Tear at end flap and moderate aging/dust soiling to back. VG. Comic titles include - "The Fence Post Mystery, The Frame-Up, Tracks Of Guilt, The 'Accidental Sherlock'" and "The Double Cross Brand." Each features different illustrated Quaker Oats ad on back. All have lt. cover aging, but a very solid, clean set overall. Corner tip off "The Double Cross Brand" and all have faint bend at center (though not creased). Fine to VF.
