Item Description
Pair of single-sided paper advertising signs, each 9x12". Doughnut Corps. of America, c. 1956. First is "Howdy Doody Fudge Bar" sign w/"Save All Howdy Doody Bags For Swell Prizes" text. Four .5x1.5" darkened areas on corners due to manufacturer-applied peel-away "Kleen-Stik" tape on back. Adhesive has bled through and darkened w/age, though this blends somewhat at bottom corners. Some scattered handling wear but sign retains bright color. VF. Second is "Clarabell Chocolate Covered Banana Bar" sign w/nice image of Clarabell who usually does not speak shown at top holding banana bar saying "Colossal!" Text includes "Howdy Doody's Favorite Pal - The Clarabell Treat That Can't Be Beat!" Some scattered handling wear but o/w Exc. Scarce sign.
