Book features a photograph of Hart in Western wear on his Horseshoe Ranch and other illustrated plates. First blank inside page has lengthy black ink inscription from Hart to Rudy Vallee, a close friend on whose radio program Hart made appearances. Partial inscription reads "Dear Rudy, These Yarns Are Fiction. The Simple Little Story I Read To You Last Night Was One Incident In The Lives Of Two Men Who Have Known And Loved Each Other For 30 Years."
