Item Description
Total TeleVision Productions, 1966-67. Detailed lead pencil animation storyboards on 4.5x8" "Tomkins Telepad" sheets. Numbered with typed identification numbers and penciled in scene numbers on some. Page numbers are 1-110. These pads map out the whole cartoon in art and dialog and were often pulled apart and rearranged as the show came together. Sheets do contain the start and finish of this episode which was Part Four of the storyline shown in separate airings. Numbered B-26. The Beagles were loosely based on The Beatles which aired their cartoon on another network in the same time slot. Storyline is a western adventure containing appearances of Stringer and Tubby as well as their manager Scotty with majority of scenes containing Indians. The series was presumed lost but the original negatives and tracks were found decades later in a warehouse. Some aging/wear of outer sheets and oxidation to staples/fasteners however, many inner sheets are near perfect as produced so condition varies. A rare piece to find in any condition and this one displays VF overall.
