Item Description
9.75x12" acetate sheet w/5.5x6.25" hand-painted image area depicting Santa Claus as seen in the 1933 Disney Silly Symphonies animated classic "The Night Before Christmas," an adaptation of Clement Clarke Moore's poem "A Visit From St. Nicholas," popularly called "The Night Before Christmas." The film was directed by Disney animator Wilfred Jackson. Lower right has "3" notation. Sheet has been taped to complimentary green bkg. Santa image has a few small spots of paint off, most noticeable in .25x.5" area above bottom of coat's fur trim. A few other small spots off at knee and belt buckle. 97% of paint remains and image still displays nicely. VF. Great expressive image of Santa Claus.
