Item Description
Lot of 15 issued by Kellogg's "Pep" cereal. First is nine 5x7" stiff paper punch-out sheets from set of 28. Packaged one per box of Kellogg's Pep Whole Wheat Flakes. Includes - Vought J R 2S Excaliber, Russian YAK-4, Douglas A-24 Dauntless, Curtiss P-40F Warhawk, Consolidated Vultee B-24 Liberator, British Short Sunderland Flying Boat, Russian I-18, British Westland Whirlwind and Douglas C-54 Skymaster. c. 1942. All are un-punched. Aside from lt. aging, all remain Exc. Remainder of lot consists of complete set of six issued as mail-away premium. Listed in the American Card Catalog as F273-12. Each is 5-3/8x7-7/8" punch-out w/cardboard frame design w/assembly instructions but never assembled. Reverse of each is titled "History-Making U.S. Planes Of World War II" w/description/silhouette images. Set includes - B-26 Marauder, F6F Hellcat. F4U Corsair, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-39 Airacobra and A-35 Vengeance. c. 1945. Each is lightly aged but unused and Exc. Comes w/original worn Kellogg's mailing envelope, which has some scattered moisture staining and is VG.
