He goes inside to relax and a bullet comes through window knocking off his hat. Lowizy gets a rifle and goes out w/Barney to “Fetch A Bucket O’ Warter”. She opens fire on what she thinks are “Revenoo Critters” but accidentally shoots Snuffy by mistake. They all go inside to eat. Snuffy angrily sits on a pillow and tells Barney he craves his company when he’s done “Pawin’ Over Them Vittles”. Signed in ink “DeBeck” in panel 12. Complete w/King Features copyright label. Margins have lt. aging, image area will frame to Exc. appearance. Funny and well-drawn prime early example done within a year of Snuffy Smith and family’s first appearance.
