Item Description

Gold lettering on the ribbon reads “Lincoln-Douglas Debate Galesburg, Ill. Oct. 7-1908.” The ribbon has three hairline splits on the left side. These range from .25” to slightly less than .5”. On the right side there are two smaller breaks near the bottom of the blue ribbon each about .25”. The celluloid is clean and glossy. A rare single day issue and the first example we’ve seen in this format.
