Item Description
The Lincoln piece is 2” tall and the young woman is 2.25” tall. Each piece is composed of a cardboard backing and eight straight pins around which is woven brown thread creating an overlapping diamond shape and square shape. The first piece shows Lincoln with a beard next to his young song Tad. The second piece has at its center a tintype photo of a young woman. On the lower left of this piece there is a pair of broken threads but otherwise both pieces are in Mint as made condition. Reverses are covered in thread repeating the pattern on the obverse and neither piece has any kind of fastener. From the 1864 era.
