Item Description
First is 1.5” tall ornate embossed brass shell with real photo of Harrison at center. Likely from 1888. Hake #3253 frame style but this has a different photo. Mint condition. Second is 1.75” aluminum medal with rim hole at top as made. Listed as Sullivan #1892-1. Front has jugate portraits of Harrison and Reid beneath the slogan “Republican Presidential Nominees” and above an image of White House. Reverse of the piece has intricate design depicting the “Landing Of Columbus In America October 12, 1492.” Reverse has small 3/16” long shallow dent on upper rim edge and front has just the trace of a little faint brown spotting that shows very little.
