Item Description
Sizes are 5/8” to 7/8”. Only the first carries the date of 1888 but likely most of the others are from 1888 rather than from 1892. Five of the pieces carry the name of 1888 VP candidate Morton or his initial. Other features include Row 1, #1 has an embossed silvered shell. Row 1, #2 is real cardboard photo. Row 1, #3 is all brass. The following four are all cloth covered. Row 3, #3 has a stud back that swivels so that it could be easily inserted through a button hole or perhaps even used as a cufflink. Center of this features a panel of mother of pearl. The next two have enamel paint while the following two have actual enamel finishes. The last two depict figural representations of a top hat used as a symbol by Benjamin Harrison who was a grandson of the 1840 candidate William Henry Harrison. Only tiny traces of wear on a couple of pieces. Vast majority are NM to Mint.
