Item Description
Smallest item is 2.25” tall and largest is 4” tall. Group begins with embossed brass shell large badge with covered tin back and horizontal pin. Luster on the front which has jugate image and their names is NM and includes slogan “Sound Money And Protection.” Next is a jugate brass name badge for them featuring a die cut six point star surrounded by a wreath. NM luster. Next is ribbon badge with tin frames. The top hanger has cardboard insert “Our President.” The lower hanger has real photo. First we’ve seen and Exc. Next is badge in similar format with brass top and reverse pin. Cardboard insert reads “McKinley For” while below vertically is a blue ribbon with the word “President” mounted on a flag ribbon with mounted real sepia photo portrait. Light age but Very Fine. Next is a thin die cut celluloid in a shield shape with four tiny tabs holding a McKinley real photo. Reverse has attached original ribbon and vertical stickpin. Exc. and Rare. Last are a pair of gold bugs. The first is a flat brass oval with the bug’s body in high relief. Reverse horizontal pin. Second item is flat brass with both the bug’s body, six legs and antenna in high relief. Small bits of brass luster missing from around the legs. The reverse of this one has a brass wire encircled into a clothing button shank. First example we’ve seen in this format. An interesting group.
