Each piece is entirely composed of porcelain and the back of each stud reads “O’Hara Co. Waltham Mass.” The one picturing “W. McKinley” has two tiny flakes off reverse edge that do not show on the front. Each piece had a gold luster rim, largely evaporated from the McKinley but with about 50% remaining on the other which has ribbon design reading “McKinley and Hobart.” McKinley is a little larger at 13/16” and the name version and little smaller at 11/16”.
