Item Description
First item is 5” tall and the other two a little shorter. First has large hanger bar in celluloid “Entertainment Committee.” Large flag ribbon has color bleed. This suspends 1.75” two-sided celluloid with jugate “McKinley And Hobart” portraits on the front while reverse names the event in August 1896. A little bit of spotting around the front edges with some on the interior but very faint. Still with full gloss. Second piece is similar to those in our preceding lot in that the medal showing McKinley and Roosevelt in uniform is the same but this is on a red ribbon with “Delegate” hanger at top. Tiny carbon mark at front center of medal but the rest is Mint. Last is in Mint luster brass accented by silver luster insert at center of the suspension. Hanger reads “Delegate.” Pin is missing from reverse. Mild color bleed on the ribbon. Suspension reads “Republican State Convention July 16th Madison, Wis.” Insert shows state seal on front and eagle upon a shield on the reverse. All very scarce limited issues.
