Hake #230. 1.5” brass pin is fastened to a loop at the end of an embossed brass shell. 2.25” long complete with raised circular areas to represent knots in the wood. Surface includes embossed initials “T.R.” A fascinating symbolic Roosevelt item from 1904, although he first publicly used the term “Big Stick” in a speech at the Minnesota State Fair in 1901. Scarce. NM.
