Item Description
Lot of six complete and assembled boxes, each 2.5x3.75x7/8" and from a 1950s numbered series by Super Novelty Candy Co. Lot includes - 2, 4, 7, 11, 14-15. Each features a different Disney character on front/back and these include Peter Pan/Captain Hook, Pluto/Dewey, Daisy Duck/Louie, Goofy/Cinderella, Grumpy/Happy and Practical Pig/Joe Carioca. Additional character portraits are repeated on side panels. Captain Hook shows obvious wear w/significant surface paper lifts and is Good/VG. Pluto has 1.5" area of dark staining from candy. VG. Daisy/Louie have some scattered aging/soiling. VG/Fine. Goofy has moderate staining. VG. Cinderella has .25" spot of staining and inking to surface paper lift on name. VG/Fine. Joe Carioca has .5" surface paper lift. VG. Rest have scattered aging/staining and are VG-Fine overall. Scarce series.
