22.5x42.5" tall by 2.5" thick wooden figure assembled in multi-layer fashion. c. 1930s. Figure was roughly cut out of wooden boards that were pieced together and painted. Jointed at hips, figure can be either posed standing or sitting. Painted on both sides and hands hold rag-wrapped container, likely used to hold flowers. Surface has all over aging and paint wear (more moderate at hip joint) and there are some gaps in the boards as assembled. VG/Fine. Whimsical design.
