Lot of four different magic tricks issued by Beech Nut Gum as premiums in the 1930s. Beech Nut was the sponsor of the "Chandu The Magician" radio show (1932-1950) on the East Coast. Lot includes two boxed magic tricks - "Ball And Vase" and "The Choco-Mint Mystery." Boxes show obvious wear from mailing, w/"Ball And Vase" box being incomplete. Boxes are Good-VG w/instructions/contents Exc. as packaged. Envelope w/illustrated label contains "The Great Beech-Nut Buddha Money Mystery" but is missing instructions. Scattered wear to label w/some spots of surface paper lift. VG w/contents Exc. as packaged. Last envelope contains "Beechnut Holiday Trick" w/instructions and cards. Envelope has penciled name on mailing label and is VF w/Exc. contents. Lot comes w/worn/moisture stained Beech Nut advertising sheet w/Chandu image, parental note and illustrated advertising booklet w/great Chandu imagery.
